Dr Joseph Bennin is a Senior Specialist Physician with more than twenty years of distinguished clinical practice and a reputation for clinical excellence. A seasoned medical administrator, he combines deep expertise in internal medicine with strategic leadership in health service delivery. His clinical work is characterized by diagnostic rigour, compassionate patient-centred care, and a consistent focus on improving outcomes for individuals and communities alike.
He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ghana Medical School and holds Membership in Internal Medicine from both the West African College of Physicians and the Ghana College of Physicians. Complementing his clinical qualifications, Dr. Bennin completed a Master of Public Health and a Certificate in Health Administration and Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He also holds certificates in Leadership and Health Management and in Project Management from the University of Washington, equipping him with contemporary skills in governance, systems strengthening, and program delivery.
In 2019, he founded Central Dansoman Clinic Ltd and serves as its Medical Director, leading clinical governance, service development, and community outreach initiatives. Over the years, he has also served as Medical Director and Specialist Internist within the Catholic Health Services Trust, Ghana, and the Adventist Health Services, where he led multidisciplinary teams, implemented quality improvement programs, and mentored junior clinicians.
