When you enter the clinic you will be required to have your temperature taken after which you will be required to wash your hands. You will be required to have a facemask on, covering your nose and mouth before you are allowed entry. You will be welcomed by friendly nurses at our reception desk. Explain to them it’s your first time at the clinic. They will let you know whether you may require a Clinic card for the service you want or not. All appointments to see a doctor will require that you fill a registration form and have a card generated for you and show you where to proceed from there. You can make your registration payments by Mobile Money and do your Clinic card online this greatly reduces your waiting time. If you have registered for your clinic card online you just have to pick your card at the reception desk after which nurses will help you on where to proceed to.
Yes. Making a card online greatly reduces your waiting time at the clinic. You will however be required to pick your card before seeing a Doctor.
Please carry your hospital card with you when coming or provide your hospital number given to you online when you registered. Proceed to the nurses at the reception desk and confirm your appointment after which you will be directed where to go or what to do. Kindly come 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time to have your vitals checked before you see the doctor.
Yes. We accept some local private health insurance cards such as Phoenix, Nationwide mutual, Glico, Acacia and Premier Health insurance but no foreign health insurance for now, we are in the process of getting accreditation from a few foreign insurance firms. We do not however accept NHIS cards currently. Kindly find out from our reception if we accept your insurance card.

Yes. At CD clinic you do not need a referral from your General Practitioner to see any of our Specialists. Our professional doctors may however help you to make the right choice of a Specialist to see if you are unsure about which specialist to see first.
If you need a medical report kindly ask the doctor to attend to you who will then write out your report and ask you to pick it up at the reception desk. Medical reports usually take between 1-3 working days to write. You can also request for a medical report online after making the necessary payments.
Yes. We see children from a day old and above. If you want to see a pediatrician however you may be required to book an appointment.
Yes. We run an antenatal clinic with a pregnancy school where we teach you all you need to know about your pregnancy and what to expect. A specialist Obstetrician is available who you can see anytime by appointment. We also run postnatal clinics and a child welfare clinic.
Yes. We offer a wide range of vaccinations at our clinic from routine childhood vaccinations, Hepatitis B to Human Papillomavirus vaccine for cervical cancer, and many others. Kindly call our helpdesk to know if we have the vaccine you want.
If you are just coming for an ECG, Ultrasound, or laboratory test and do not require to see a doctor you will not be required to do a clinic card. You will be directed straight to where you will have your test done in the shortest possible time. Your results may be e-mailed to you if it will not be available on the same day.

Yes. Family and friends may visit you at any time during your admission. At certain times however, there may be restrictions on the number of visitors a patient is entitled to.
Yes. You can request a personal hard copy or a request for your labs to be sent via e-mail or WhatsApp. You may be required to fill a consent form to have this done for you at no extra charge.
You will still be required to make a card even if you have been referred to see the surgeon directly from another clinic. If you were booked earlier by a Specialist at the clinic and could not have your surgery done for one reason or another you may be required to see the Specialist surgeon again to book for your surgery depending on the time interval that has elapsed.

No, you do not require a clinic card for a screening test. Breast cancer screening is free but you will be required to pay for fees for cervical cancer screening for your samples to be taken to the lab. Depending on your test results the Doctor or nurse may recommend you see a doctor.
Yes we accept visa payments and momo payments on all platforms.
Yes, we accept some foreign currencies at the prevailing bank rate.
Yes , you can register all your family or company staff at the administration this allows them to receive medical care and at the end of the month bills will be sent to you for payment. This is advantageous for you and your family as you do not have to pay upfront in case of an emergency
Yes. At CD clinic we see patients from around the world, we however require an appointment to help you us book a translator for the specific language you speak.
Yes. You can come along and have your preliminary testing or exam before coming with your fiancé or partner but we advise coming together as this raises trust issues among will be coupled.
We don’t do CoVID test at our clinic but we can make arrangements to have your sample’s taken and results sent to you.
Yes. You can come for a test if it has been requested outside of our Clinic. You will not be required to make a clinic card to have this done but if you are just coming for a test on your own, we advise that you see a doctor first to know whether the test is necessary.
Yes CD Clinic is a disabled friendly facility. Whether you are blind, deaf, or dumb or crippled you are more than welcome to our facility. Our professional nurses give you step by step guidance assisting you every step of the way until you are done and ready to exit our clinic.
No there is no separate registration for foreign Nationals. You will however need all the necessary information to do a clinic card if you haven’t done it online.
Yes, you can book for a doctor to come to see you at home for a fee. You may also request a telemedicine consult via any of our online portals.
CD Clinic is the safest place to visit during this CoVID pandemic. Our strict adherence to Infection prevention and control protocols ensures the highest level of safety for you during your clinic visit. If for any reason you cannot come to the clinic you may request a telemedicine consult after making the necessary payments after which your prescriptions will be delivered at your doorstep.
Yes. We have a spacious car park in front of and inside the clinic. The inner parking space is however reserved for patients on admission or going for surgery.
